Edward L. Blum
Born July 4, 1946; University of California, Berkeley (B.A. 1968), University of California, Davis (J.D. 1971); Judge Pro Tem, Oakland-Piedmont Municipal Court; Arbitrator, Alameda County Superior Court; Member of Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco County and California State Bar Associations, Real Estate and Litigation Sections; Member, Alameda/Contra Costa and California Trial Lawyers Associations.

Admitted to practice January, 1972. Litigation experience in real estate and commercial matters, consisting of disputes in the areas of business formations, sale transactions, financing and construction. Rated "AV" by Martindale-Hubbell National Directory. Listed in Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers (since 1996).

Mr. Blum has served both as a court-appointed arbitrator and a judge pro tem, and frequently serves as a private mediator, assisting other attorneys and their clients in the settlement of their cases. As a mediator, his areas of specialty include both real estate and business disputes.

 

Theodore W. Bloyd

Born October 27, 1945; San Jose State University (B.S. 1969), University of San Francisco (J.D. 1997); General Contractor License (B-1, H.I.C.).

Mr. Bloyd specializes in the litigation and resolution of construction disputes, as well as all areas of disputes involving real estate, including purchase and sale agreements, non-disclosures, mechanic’s liens and claims resolution.

Mr. Bloyd’s background as a general contractor for 25 years allows for him to bring a unique perspective to the resolution of lawsuits, since he knows from first – hand experience what should have occurred in addition to what did occur. His construction background and experience serves his clients well.
