Born July 4, 1946; University of California, Berkeley (B.A. 1968), University of California, Davis (J.D. 1971); Judge Pro Tem, Oakland-Piedmont Municipal Court; Arbitrator, Alameda County Superior Court; Member of Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco County and California State Bar Associations, Real Estate and Litigation Sections; Member, Alameda/Contra Costa and California Trial Lawyers Associations.

Litigation experience in real estate and commercial matters, consisting of disputes in the areas of business formations, sale transactions, financing and construction. Mr. Blum has served both as a court-appointed arbitrator and a judge pro tem, and frequently serves as a private mediator, assisting other attorneys and their clients in the settlement of their cases. As a mediator, his areas of specialty include both real estate and business disputes.
